In Flight introduces us to single mother and flight attendant Jo (Kelly), who is coerced into smuggling drugs for a dangerous criminal gang in a desperate bid to keep her son safe.

The six-episode series is written and co-created by Mike Walden, who has previously worked on Marcella season 3 and detective series Whitstable Pearl, alongside Adam Randall, who recently served as director on Slow Horses season 4.

Randall isn't in the director's chair on this project, however, with those duties going to Chris Baugh (of BBC Three slasher Wreck and Sky drama Tin Star).

If you're excited to tune in, here's all you need to know about Channel 4's In Flight.
