And Just Like That confirmed to end for good in two weeks' time – and one star is "profoundly sad"
The Sex and the City spin-off has reached the end of the road.

And Just Like That will come to an end after its current third season, it has been confirmed.
The Sex and the City spin-off's creator and showrunner Michael Patrick King announced the news on social media, calling the upcoming finale "a wonderful place to stop".
Cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have all since shared their reaction to the decision, with Davis explaining she is "profoundly sad" to see the HBO Max show conclude.
In a letter posted to Instagram, King wrote: “And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end.
"While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.
"SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”
Posting on her own Instagram page, Carrie Bradshaw star Parker shared a montage of photos from her time on the series and wrote a heartfelt tribute to her iconic character.
"Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years," she said. "I think I have loved her most of all. I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her.
"The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all.
"AJLT was all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work alongside the most extraordinary talent of 380 that includes all the brilliant actors who joined us... I hope you love these final two episodes as much as we all do."

Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes in And Just Like That.
Alongside her own set of photos on Instagram, Miranda Hobbes actor Nixon added: "I can’t believe our wild beautiful And Just Like That ride is almost over. It has been such a delight from start to finish. I will miss working with these people everyday SO incredibly much but know we will always be a part of each other’s lives.
"Get ready for a lot more carousels in the weeks to come! And don’t miss these last few episodes: surprises in store!"
Meanwhile, Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, captioned her Instagram post: "I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever."
With just two more episodes of And Just Like That season 3 to go, it means the final ever instalment will air on HBO Max on Thursday 14th August, and on Sky Comedy and NOW on Friday 15th August.
