It's a big year of Tomb Raider – we've even got our first look at Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider TV adaptation.

But if you want news on the games, here's what you need to know about the Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis release date, who's playing Lara Croft and more.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis release date speculation

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is currently scheduled to release in 2026 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

This was confirmed when the game was officially announced at The Game Awards 2025.

Unfortunately, while we do know that the game is coming later this year, we have no specific time frame for that.

What we can do, however, is guess. With GTA 6 releasing in mid-November, it's safe to assume that any other games are going to give it a wide berth.

As such, we think that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis may release around September or October 2026 to avoid GTA 6, though it may also opt for a December release, for similar reasons.

Either way, we're looking at the latter stages of 2026.

Who plays Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis?

Lara Croft will be played by Alix Wilton Regan in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

Wilton Regan has a storied career in gaming, and you will almost certainly recognise some of her biggest roles.

She's been Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect 3, Alt Cunningham in Cyberpunk 2077, the female Inquisitor in both Dragon Age: Inquisition and Veilguard, Lea Florence Monad in Lies of P: Overture and many more.

She takes over from Camilla Luddington, who voiced Lara in the previous three Tomb Raider games.

Is there a trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis?

Yes! The announcement trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was first shown off at The Game Awards 2025:
