28 Years Later x Fortnite: Release date, what's included and how to get
Rage on.

Ahead of the release of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple later this week, the film is celebrating the occasion by getting its very own Fortnite collab.
If you haven't caught up with 28 Years Later yet, then there's still time to do so before the sequel arrives – although you could just play some Fortnite instead.
It's far from the first time Fortnite has done a movie collab – we're currently in the midst of a whole Hollywood season, after all – but the 28 Days Later series is certainly one of the more unexpected films to hit the game.
But nothing is too unexpected for Fortnite, so here's when the 28 Years Later x Fortnite collab releases, what's included in the crossover and how to get all the new items.
28 Years Later x Fortnite release date
The 28 Years Later x Fortnite collaboration is now out, having released on 13th January 2026.
The collab was added with the latest Fortnite Item Shop update, at around midnight GMT – the evening of the 12th for those of you in the Americas.
It's not a surprise, though, with the next film in the series releasing later in the week!

What's in the 28 Years Later Fortnite collab and how to get it
Unfortunately, no skins were added to the game as part of this crossover, with players instead getting a Bundle containing two items.
These are:
- Bio Hazard Back Bling
- Vertebasher Pickaxe
The Bio Hazard Back Bling costs 500 V-Bucks, while the Vertebasher Pickaxe costs 800 V-Bucks.
The Years of Rage Bundle contains both, and is 1,300 V-Bucks, although for a limited time, players can purchase it for a discounted 1,000 V-Bucks instead.
Still, it's a shame we won't get Ralph Fiennes in Fortnite – maybe next time, eh?
