For years at this point, CoD hasn't had Ranked Play at launch and that is the same for BO7, and in fact, BO7 players will have a long time to wait as the mode won't show up for a while.

Treyarch teased the mode back at COD Next in September. So, here is when Ranked Play will arrive in CoD BO7 and what to expect from it.

CoD BO7 Ranked Play will arrive with Season 2 in 2026. While we don't have an official date yet, Season 2 is likely to begin at the end of January, as it has for the last few years.

It will likely launch alongside the new season or a week of two after it launches, to give the developers some time to ensure everything is running smoothly. So, you won't be waiting till the end of the Season.

This is similar to what we saw with CoD MW2 and CoD MW3, as CoD BO6's ranked play release was early in Season 1. We should hear more about the mode and its planned release in January.

As for ruleset changes, ranks, and how the mode will work exactly. Treyarch haven't really detailed anything about the changes they plan to make with Ranked Play in CoD BO7. Therefore, we can assume that it will be similar to how it worked in BO6, if not exactly the same.

We will be keeping this article updated with the latest information as it is announced so stay tuned. You can rewatch COD Next below:
