BAFTA Film Awards 2026 nominations: Full list revealed as One Battle After Another dominates
There were also plenty of nominations for Sinners, Hamnet and I Swear.

Less than a week after the Oscar nominations were announced, BAFTA has now followed suit – and it's One Battle After Another which leads the pack with a total of 14 nominations.
Paul Thomas Anderson's acclaimed film has just one more nod than Ryan Coogler's Sinners – which follows up its record-breaking Academy Awards haul with 13 nominations here – while next in line were Hamnet and Marty Supreme on 11 nominations apiece.
Meanwhile, there were also eights nods for both Frankenstein and Sentimental Value, while home-grown films which fared well included I Swear (five nominations), The Ballad of Wallis Island and Pillion (three nominations each).
In the acting categories, many of the same names who featured in the Oscars shortlists have been nominated again – but there are also some notable changes, with the likes of Chase Infiniti, Paul Mescal, Carey Mulligan and Robert Aramayo all making it into their respective categories.
Aramyo and Infiniti also both feature in the previously announced five-strong shortlist for the BAFTA Rising Star Award, alongside Archie Madekwe, Miles Caton and Posy Sterling – with voting now open for the British public in that category.
Speaking about the nominations, BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip said that the shortlisted films "showcase the very best of storytelling and its ability to engage, entertain and provoke debate".
She added: "The breadth of narrative, genres and styles is spellbinding. Whether newcomers or veterans, I hope our first-time nominees enjoy this much deserved spotlight, and I look forward to welcoming them and all our returning nominees to London."
The nominations were announced by actors Aimee Lou Wood and David Jonsson and you can find the list in full below ahead of the ceremony – which will be hosted by Alan Cumming at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday 22nd February.
