The Hammers have experienced a turbulent campaign in the Premier League with a lacklustre bottom-half finish crying out to be rescued by lifting the trophy on Wednesday evening.

West Ham lifted the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1965, a competition they qualified for after winning the 1964 FA Cup. Their most recent cup triumph was the FA Cup in 1980.

Fiorentina are also in search of their maiden major European trophy. They also lifted the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, in 1961, but will be determined to make their shot count after reaching the final.

BT coverage will be shown live across multiple free platforms, including YouTube, this weekend so everyone can tune in to soak up the grand occasion.
