EastEnders has aired yet another U-turn in Suki Panesar-Unwin's (Balvinder Sopal) latest storyline, and it's left us wondering where she goes from here.

Suki convinced her pregnant step-granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) to let her and wife Eve (Heather Peace) raise her unborn baby.

But when she broached the subject of having a child with Eve, Suki left Avani's situation out of it!

By the time Eve had come round to the idea, Avani arrived home and assumed Eve was in the know – and there was an explosive row between Suki and Eve.

Eve was furious that her partner had been so deceitful, but Suki likened Eve's anger to that of her late, abusive ex Nish (Navin Chowdhry), before turning on Eve in a brutal display.

As Suki branded Eve a "superficial party girlie" and claimed that the Gulatis were Suki's family, not Eve's, Eve fled to The Queen Vic.

Ravi (Aaron Thiara), unaware of daughter Avani's condition, was baffled when Eve made a dig about his "tight-knit family".

While Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) counselled Eve, Suki told Avani she should have supported her original decision to have a termination.

Avani, however, insisted that she still wanted Suki to be her baby's parent, and the teen later begged Eve not to tell Ravi and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) about her pregnancy.

Eve soon learned that toxic Joel Marshall (Max Murray) was the father, and Avani implored Eve to hear Suki out.

Back at the house, Suki apologised to Eve for her hurtful words, and Avani's promise that she wanted them to have the baby led Eve to agree to consider the idea.

But despite this, Eve didn't look convinced.

After Suki's outburst, could her marriage to Eve be heading for the rocks already?
