Baby Reindeer star's much-anticipated new show Half Man gets UK start date confirmed by BBC
Half Man, starring Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell, is arriving on the BBC and HBO next month.

Two years after Baby Reindeer blew viewers away and achieved great acclaim for creator and star Richard Gadd, he is now finally back with his new show Half Man, the release date for which has now been confirmed.
The six-part drama, which is a production between the BBC and HBO, will debut its first episode on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Friday 24 April, with new instalments arriving weekly on Fridays at the same time.
The episodes will also air on BBC One and BBC Scotland transmissions within the week after each iPlayer release, but exact timings for that have yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, for viewers in the US, the series will debut on HBO and HBO Max on 23 April from 9pm ET/PT.

Filmed last year in and around Glasgow, Gadd, who is creator on the series, also stars as Ruben, while Jamie Bell plays Niall.
The synopsis for the series says: "Niall and Ruben are brothers. Not related in blood but the closest you can get. One, fierce and loyal. The other, meek and mild-mannered. Inseparable youth. Brought into each other’s lives through death and circumstance, all they have is each other…
"But when Ruben turns up at Niall’s wedding three decades later, everything seems different. He is on edge. Shifty. Not acting like himself. And soon, an explosion of violence takes place which catapults us back through their lives, from the eighties to the present day.

"Capturing 30 years in the lives of these broken men, Half Man explores brotherhood, violence, and the intense fragility of male relationships. After all, when things fall apart… it is sometimes the closest relationships which break the hardest."

Half Man will arrive on BBC iPlayer at 6am on Friday 24 April 2026.
