Just hours before The Jump 2017 was due to start, the series' highest profile celebrity revealed that he had sustained an injury during training, but insisted while receiving treatment that "the show must go on".
Wiggo managed to compete in the opening episode, but reports later emerged that he would be forced to pull out. Eventually he admitted that because of a fractured leg he would no longer be able to take part. To everyone's confusion he still appeared in episode two and three, as he had already recorded some of the challenges.
