Here’s everything you need to know about Anna Vakili…
Meet Anna Vakili…
Who is Anna coupled up with on Love Island? Anna wass coupled up with Jordan before the pair fell out when Jordan tried to crack on with India. The former couple were later dumped from the villa.
Recognise Anna? You very well may do, as she’s one of the names previously rumoured to be entering the villa – and has been dubbed ‘the British Kim Kardashian’.
She’s also a bit of an Insta celeb, with an impressive 39,000 on her personal account before Love Island even kicked off.
Her Insta-fame came about earlier this year after she went partying with her sister and two Iranian footballers.
“I ended up on the Iranian News earlier this year [because of it],” she said. “Suddenly my followers went up by 20,000 and I started being tagged in fan pages!”
However, there is more to her than just her glamorous appearance – Anna has a masters degree as a pharmacist.
“I think I’m different to anyone who has been on the show before,” she said. “I studied hard and I’ve got my masters. I’m a pharmacist and I have a Middle Eastern background.”
But Anna, who rates herself an eight out of ten for looks, says that being ‘clumsy’ is one of her faults.
“I spill my drinks all the time,” she said. “I met Kem Cetinay in November when I went to Dubai.
“He was with his really hot cousin and I was chatting to him and I slipped and fell straight down in front of them.”
What is Anna looking for in the villa?
A Tom Hardy fan, Anna is looking for someone similarly tall, dark and handsome.
“Personality wise, he would be loyal, kind and emotional,” she said. “I like the soppy guys. I’m not into cocky boys at all, I like smart and funny.”
Her turn-offs include bad hygiene and guys who aren’t particularly picky.
“I can’t stand it if a guy smells,” she said. “And also I don’t like guys who will just go for anyone.”
What has Anna been up to in the villa?
Anna was one of two singles not picked in an early recoupling – but she and Maura were saved from eviction in a shock twist which saw two new boys join the villa.
She then went on a date with newcomer Jordan – who told her he had his eyes on her from before he went in – and the two hit it off.
The pair shared a kiss with Anna more loved up in the villa than ever before. Jordan chose her in the latest recoupling – had she finally found love?
Well, apparently so – but not with Jordan. The introduction of Casa Amor saw Anna’s head well and truly turned by newcomer Ovie, with the pair having a smooch during the Sexy Charades game.
They then shared a bed together on the first night.
Anna revealed that Ovie’s maturity could tip the scales for her, admitting to him: “The thing about you that I like is that if we were to start something at least there is some kind of potential there with you. I do like Jordan but with Jordan I don’t feel like it would grow into something.”
She opted to couple up with Ovie rather than Jordan as they re-entered the villa, leaving Jordan a singleton once again.
However, Anna later admitted that she had “missed” Jordan, the pair of them sharing a cuddle and kiss in her bed. She later told him that she had less “sexual chemistry” with Ovie.
She declared that she would continue to “get to know” them both – which left Ovie, a self-described “very proud man” – quite unhappy. In fact, she soon dumped Ovie, rekindling her romance with Jordan. And when it came to the recoupling, she opted to choose him.
She and Jordan then had the chance to reconnect, with a raunchy date in the Hideaway — where Jordan performed a strip-tease for Anna…

The two promptly became boyfriend and girlfriend, but almost immediately after that they entered a rocky patch. Anna was upset to discover that they had landed in the bottom three couples after a public vote, which saw Michael and Francesca leave the villa. Jordan comforted her, but he was later seen suggesting to Curtis that his head has been turned by India – before ultimately deciding he wanted to pursue her.
“I’m set on my location – India,” he told a bewildered Curtis.
Anna confronted Jordan about him not spending any time with her, with Jordan admitting that that the pair “aren’t having too much fun” anymore.
But things really came to a head when Anna saw India and Jordan cosying up in the corner, with Maura informing her that Jordan was planning to crack on with India.
Storming over, Anna said, “Are you actually that f****** idiot?
“You asked me to be your girlfriend to get to the final.”
Jordan clapped back, “You’re too negative all the time and it’s so boring.”
The clash was only the beginning, as Anna and Maura slept on the day beds overnight — before Anna ditched Jordan during the baby challenge. The pair then found themselves in the bottom two of the recoupling, and were dumped from the villa.
Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.
