The Great British Sewing Bee's Patrick Grant lifts lid on brand new themed week
There's a brand new theme being introduced.

The Great British Sewing Bee is entering its fourth week of the competition, and the cosy programme is reaching new heights as it takes on Korean fashion in a brand new themed episode.
Tonight (5th August), the 10 remaining sewers celebrate the rich fashion and textile traditions of Korea, with fashion designer Eudon Choi joining judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young as a special guest.
The intricate set of challenges will see the sewers tasked with taking on the jeogori, a historic Korean garment, and Taekwondo outfits in the Transformation challenge.
In the final Made to Measure challenge, the sewers design evening wear inspired by the cheollik, which is now a symbol of modern Korean fashion.
"I used to sell my clothes in a couple of stores in Seoul and have worked for a really big clothing brand in Korea, and it's a country that I really like," Patrick Grant exclusively told RadioTimes.com in a discussion of this week's theme.

He continued: "It's an amazing mix of very high aesthetic values and great creativity with a really strong science and engineering, and it also is a country with great clothing tradition, and it's one that we don't know quite as much about as Japan, because Japanese culture traveled very far and very wide throughout the 20th century, and Korean culture did not quite as much, but it's starting to catch up."
For Grant, he has been immersed in Korean culture from a young age, having had Korean students stay with his family over summers while his mother was working at the University of Edinburgh.
"I've just had a long fascination with the culture and the aesthetics of Korea and my friend Eudon Choi, was a very good customer of mine," Grant told RadioTimes.com.
He added: "He's a terrifically talented designer, but also just a really nice guy, and it took him about five minutes to kind of settle into his role as judge. And he was great fun on set. He got on super well with all of our sewers."
The international weeks have been a longstanding tradition on Sewing Bee, something that Grant enjoys as he is able to learn more about the "ins and outs" of different cultures and their clothing traditions.
The competition is well and truly on this week, and only time will tell how the sewers fare and who will be sent packing.
The Great British Sewing Bee continues on Wednesdays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
