Gladiators season 3 start date confirmed by BBC as beloved show returns
Gladiators, ready?!

Gladiators is finally making a return to TV screens and there isn't long to go before everyone's favourite superhumans go head-to-head with brave contenders from the public.
The popular series returns on Saturday 17th January at 5:45pm on BBC One and iPlayer and there is plenty to get excited for!
Saturday night superheroes Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Cyclone, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Hammer, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel and Viper will all return, and the BBC has already teased classic Legend quips, anger from Viper and some stern words from Mark Clattenburg.
Presenting duo Bradley and Barney Walsh return to their hosting duties once more, as they welcome a fresh batch of determined contenders to take on the Gladiators in five energy-sapping events.

Kicking things off, Giant has the battle of his life, Legend's nose is put out of joint and there's total devastation in a brutal, brand new event.
Gladiators has proven to be hugely popular since its revival in 2024, with its first episode becoming the biggest launch for a new entertainment series in seven years – since the launch of Let It Shine in January 2017.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC said at the time: "The return of Gladiators has taken the nation by storm with viewing figures showing that Saturday nights in are back on BBC One for all the family.
"The hugely popular presenting duo of Bradley and Barney combined with the timeless excitement of seeing the Gladiators and contenders in action means the series continues to captivate audiences across the UK."
If you simply can't wait, seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on iPlayer to relive all the exhilarating moments.
