Gary Barlow: I'm with the Band

Gary Barlow says this pilot is like an extension to his Crooner Sessions (his online singalongs with various pop stars) but with more sparkle. He’s gathered an interesting mix of musicians (Jamie Cullum, Tom Fletcher, Mica Paris and some who’re not so well known) in a fabulous church setting to play songs such as the Weeknd’s Blinding Lights and Jocelyn Brown’s Somebody Else’s Guy. No rehearsal footage so each performance by this supergroup is spot on, the band banter doesn’t sound too forced and the post-performance conversations (with guests Ann-Marie and Craig David) are interesting and relaxed. Nice one, Gary.
