Pokopia Gardens lands in London: Where to find the Pokémon pop-up explained
How humid is it, though?

The new game Pokopia seems to have been a massive hit with Pokémon fans (including the one writing this article), with exploring biomes and building homes quickly becoming a daily ritual for players. And now, you can even visit a Pokopia-themed garden in real life!
This isn’t the only crossover between Pokopia and the real world, either, with an IKEA crossover already being announced to boot. We can’t help but wonder, what will be next?
For now, we can confirm that a pop-up experience called Pokopia Gardens is coming to three locations around Europe. And luckily for me and any other fans that call England’s capital city home, one of them is in London!
The three cities getting treated to this Pokopia Gardens experience are London (UK), Berlin (Germany) and Paris (France).
The details of the London one are as follows:
- Dates: 31 March to 30 September
- Timings: Open continuously for the public to visit
- Address: The Mount, Acton, London W3 9NW
- Nearest Station: Acton Town
- Price: Free to the public
And what exactly should you expect from Pokopia Gardens? The official description tells us, "In the game, players are tasked with rebuilding the world into a Pokémon paradise to encourage Pokémon back into the area.
"The Pokémon Company International is recreating that concept for local communities in real life, providing beautiful Pokémon-themed paradises in public spaces.
"The spaces feature a curated selection of flora alongside elements inspired by the game’s charming art style and familiar Pokémon friends, including ‘living walls’ and Pokémon-inspired terrariums."

Certainly, if you live fairly local, this sounds like a fun little activity to do. If you’re looking for things to pass the time over the imminent Bank Holiday weekend, this would be a great one!
We’ll be sure to let you know if we hear more about Pokopia crossing into the real world. It feels like this game, like Animal Crossing before it, could have a long shelf-life if the developers and The Pokémon Company continue to support it.
