Marvel Rivals season 6: Release date and what to expect
"Daddy needs to express some rage."

If you're excited for Marvel Rivals season 6, you don't have long to wait, as the release date is coming up fast.
For many players, season 5 was a bit disappointing, and they'll be hoping that NetEase can get back to their best with Night at the Museum.
And it already seems like a promising one, with a certain Merc with a Mouth set to make his debut this season.
So, when does season 6 of Marvel Rivals release, and what can we expect from it? Here's what you need to know.
When is the Marvel Rivals season 6 release date?
Marvel Rivals season 6 is scheduled to release on 16th January 2026.
The new season, dubbed 'Night at the Museum' is scheduled to run until 20th March, and like any new season, will bring new heroes, maps, team-ups and more.
At the time of writing, NetEase hasn't confirmed when season 6.5 will begin, but we imagine it will begin on 13th or 20th February.

What to expect from Marvel Rivals season 6
The biggest news about Marvel Rivals season 6 is that we are getting two new heroes: Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone.
While we don't know much about how they will work in game, Deadpool is almost certainly going to be a Duelist, with his pistols, katanas and close-quarters combat style fitting the role perfectly.
Elsa, on the other hand, could work as either a Duelist or Strategist – her strength and rifle would make her a good option for Duelist, while her magic, if implemented right, would make her a good Strategist.
She could potentially make a hybrid of the two, like Mantis, playing as a Strategist with high DPS potential.
As for new maps, the season 6 trailer takes place in a museum (hence the season's name), which is owned by the Collector, AKA Taneleer Tivan.
We expect that this museum will be added to the game as a new map. There may be a second map, but NetEase hasn't announced anything about any more maps thus far.
Of course, there will be a new Battle Pass full of new skins, new events to look forward to, and a shake-up of the Team-Ups, but no info on any of these has been provided so far, so we may just have to wait and see what NetEase has in store!
