Looking to get in on the Hytale action and wondering if you can play it for free?

The new Minecraft-like once started life as a Minecraft server, but has evolved into something entirely new over the years.

It's the game everyone is talking about, so if you don’t want to miss out, here's what you need to know about the Hytale price and how to buy it.

Is Hytale free? Price and how to buy explained

Unfortunately, Hytale is not free. While many players have called on the developers to make the game free-to-play, for the moment, it is a paid experience.

Additionally, the game is not available on Steam (nor consoles, for that matter), because the devs want to make sure the game is in a strong enough state first.

That means the only way to buy Hytale is by heading to the official Hytale website. There, you'll find three different editions of the game available, each with their own perks – you can read more about them all down below.
