Players will get the chance to jump into the game early to test out some of the new gameplay changes that EA has teased for this year.

So, if you're looking to get your hands on a beta code for the upcoming FC title, here's everything you need to know.

Is there a beta for FC 26?

It is currently expected that the FC 26 beta will begin on or around 8th August 2025, and will last for around two weeks.

While it hasn't officially been confirmed by EA Sports that a beta will take place, they have become a now-yearly part of the FC calendar, and it's likely there will be a beta again this year.

The dates above are speculation, based on the dates that last year's FC 25 beta took place.

What's included in the FC 26 beta?

Based on previous years, the FC 26 beta will provide players with access to most of the game's main modes.

This includes Kick-Off, Online Seasons, Co-Op Season, Online Friendlies and Learn to Play.

Furthermore, the game often features access to at least one of Ultimate Team, Career Mode or Clubs, though we have no idea if that will be the case this year.

How to get FC 26 beta access

First things first, the FC 26 beta is only available to players on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S consoles, and you must also be subscribed to either Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus.

That means players on PC, Nintendo consoles or last-gen consoles are fresh out of luck.

Make sure your EA account is linked to your PSN or Xbox account, and that you have an active subscription to Game Pass or PS Plus.

As for actually getting a code, they are offered out randomly to players who consent to being sent marketing emails by EA.

You can turn this on by logging into your EA account on EA.com, heading to the 'Email Preferences' tab, and ticking the box that lets EA contact you regarding products, news, events and promotions.

Below that is a list of preferences that you can select to give yourself a better chance of being offered a code. Select all of the EA Sports FC and FIFA titles you can as preferred games, select your preferred platform, and then hit 'Update'.

After that, just make sure to check your emails regularly (including spam) to see if you're one of the lucky players to get a code.
