Mel and Max get a little closer – leaving Rainie jealous, Jay begins to think Ruby is too good for him and Adam hurts Habiba by accusing her of trying to find someone else..

Tuesday 25thJune: Max struggles to get Mel off his mind and invites her for a drink – unaware today is the day of Hunter’s sentencing. Ian and Kathy are shocked when Bobby turns up with a bruised face and assume Max is responsible. Tiffany is fed up of Sonia worrying about her, so she tells Jack to drop things with Fraser. Jean meets a man at her chemotherapy appointment who proceeds to annoy her. Adrian Edmondson joins the cast.

Thursday 26thJune: Jack and Fraser come to blows and the situation soon gets out of hand. Mel spins Rainie a lie so she can get into Jack’s house and get her hands on his money. Kathy berates Ian for not being supporting enough of Bobby, Stacey tells Daniel to leave Jean alone and Gray tries to win Mitch round. Lola is pleased when Denise offers her a job at the salon – only to be deflated when she sees Jay and Ruby making amends..

Friday 27th June: Ben confronts Lola about her plans to leave Walford and resorts to desperate lengths to make her stay. Ian suggests home tutoring might be best for Bobby, but when the teenager dismisses the idea, his dad feels helpless. Chantelle has an idea how Gray can get in Mitch’s good books and Daniel continues to annoy Jean, causing her to storm off.

Who is the EastEnders showrunner?

Kate Oates is the current EastEnders producer. She took over the role in 2018 following the departure of John Yorke. Oates was previously the producer of ITV soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street. She is also the senior executive producer for BBC shows Casualty and Holby City.
