The second and final part of the beloved musical's film adaptation will officially be available to rent and purchase on digital platforms from Friday 2nd January 2026 - making for a very happy new year for Wicked fans.

There will be two versions of the movie which will come with the purchase, including an exclusive sing-along version for fans. Meanwhile, there will also be over one hour of bonus features to dive into.

These include six deleted scenes, a making of featurette, a piece about director Jon M Chu, and two closer looks at the brand-new songs added to the film - More Than Just a Place and The Girl in the Bubble.

There will also be a featurette about the film's climax at Kiamo Ko, as well as a feature commentary from Chu.

Both Wicked films have starred Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh, and have been box office and critical successes - although there was a drop-off on both fronts for the second film.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Grande and Bailey will be reuniting in 2027, with the duo rumoured to be starring together on stage in a West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park With George.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Erivo has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to music and drama in the New Year Honours list.

Wicked: For Good will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms from 2nd January in the UK.
