Tom Allen joins the cast of hit West End musical for strictly limited run this spring

Tom Allen is coming aboard the cast of hit West End musical Titanique this spring and we are so happy about it.

The comedian has joined the Olivier Award-winning show after seeing it live and falling in love with its "laughs and camp spoofing".

The musical recently celebrated its one-year anniversary at London's Criterion Theatre, every night telling the story of how Celine Dion was aboard the Titanic and watched the love story of Jack and Rose for herself.

Allen will be playing the part of Rose's mother Ruth for six weeks from Wednesday 4th March to Sunday 12th April 2026.

In the press release he said: “I saw this show when it first opened and I loved it so much I had to see it again almost immediately. The laughs and camp spoofing are addictive and exactly what the world needs right now.

"I am beyond honoured to be joining this extremely talented cast and can't wait to come aboard for my life boat drill! ...wait, they do have enough lifeboats right?”

The show marks Allen's West End debut and becomes the latest in a long line of accolades including sold-out comedy tours, Cooking With The Stars, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and the visualised podcast Pottering.

Titanique currently stars Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) as Jack, Richard Carson (Les Misérables) as Cal, Ryan Carter (Bat Out Of Hell) as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith (13 Going on 30) as Rose, Astrid Harris (Titaníque – Théâtre du Lido, Paris) as Céline Dion and Carl Mullaney (La Cage Aux Folles) as Ruth.

The musical is booking shows up until 7th June 2026 although it's expected to extend once again thanks to rave reviews and a slew of awards including Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Layton Williams (AKA The Iceberg).

When can I see Tom Allen in Titanique?

Allen will appear from Wednesday 4th March to Sunday 12th April 2026, excluding 24th March, and 3rd to 5th April.
