War Between the Land and the Sea and Mr Bates stars lead new Donmar Warehouse season as show line-up announced
Russell Tovey and Monica Dolan star this season.

London theatre the Donmar Warehouse has announced a stacked TV line-up for its 2026 show season.
The playhouse has announced four upcoming productions, featuring names from Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea, Mr Bates vs the Post Office and Slow Horses.
Kicking off this April, Adeel Akhtar (Fool Me Once) and Monica Dolan (Mr Bates) lead the cast of brand new play Mass – adapted from the Sundance Film Festival movie of the same name – which delves into the story of two couples meeting to hash out memories of the past.
This will be followed by Russell Tovey starring in new play The Guilty, a thriller in which a police officer tries to save a desperate woman's life in real time over a 999 call.
The two plays announced after are the revival of Brian Friel’s A Month in the Country and Danny Lee Wynter’s Ilford Boy.
The theatre's Artistic Director Tim Sheader and Executive Director Henny Finch said: "We are delighted to announce our next four productions coming up at the Donmar: three world premieres and a major revival.
"It's always a pleasure to welcome back returning directors and writers; including this season Lyndsey Turner who will further explore her relationship with Brian Friel’s work. Equally, we are excited that a number of leading artists will be making their debuts at the Donmar.

"As ever, the stories we tell live on the Donmar stage are created to connect us all and celebrate our togetherness - whether that's a conversation between heartbroken parents in Mass; a shared gasp and thrill in The Guilty; a sweeping summer romance in A Month in the Country or a funny, moving coming of age story in Ilford Boy."
As part of their push to make the theatre more accessible Donmar is offering £20 tickets for under 35s and more than 1,800 free tickets for local schools.
This run of shows will take place from 18th April to 28th November, with booking opening from 6th February.
