Ezeliya stormed to victory with Chris Hayes aboard in 2024 after going off as second favourite. It was trainer Dermot Weld's second winner in this race, but he was made to wait 43 years for the second crown after Blue Wind's success in 1981.

Desert Flower, Minnie Hauk and Giselle enter this year's encounter at Epsom Downs among the favourites with their riders hoping to secure a British Classic title.
