Wales's first major tournament campaign continues on Wednesday evening as they face France in Euro 2025 Group D.

Though Rhian Wilkinson's side showed early mettle, they fell to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Netherlands in their opener and know that another defeat could kill their slim hopes of reaching the knockout stages ahead of their meeting with England on Sunday.

Having been drawn in the 'Group of Death', the odds were always against Wales out in Switzerland, but they will want to show they're not just there to make up the numbers.

Doing so against France will be a tough ask. Laurent Bonadei's side showed why many are tipping them to challenge for silverware this summer in an impressive 2-0 victory over defending champions England.

That result has put Les Bleues in a strong position to secure a quarter-final, which they could do on Wednesday if results elsewhere go their way.
