A major Emmerdale mystery was finally unravelled on Sunday, with the goings-on between Graham Foster and Coronation Street's Jodie Ramsey coming to light.

Graham and Jodie's story first began as part of the Corriedale crossover, with Jodie tied up in the back of Graham's van.

In the aftermath, Jodie returned to Weatherfield, telling her sister Shona Platt that she was on the run from her abusive ex-boyfriend.

The story came to a head on Sunday night when, during a call-out for vet Rhona Goskirk, a bloodied and unconscious Graham was found on the floor of Kim Tate's stables.

Upon waking, Graham made sure his assailants had gone, before insisting to Rhona that she should leave, and that he couldn't involve the police or a hospital.

After further pressure from Rhona, Graham conceded that after failing to "get rid of" Jodie on behalf of a gang as instructed, he had been attacked as punishment.

"You remember that problem I was hired to get rid of? I told you when I first saw you. That problem was named Jodie. This is my punishment for letting her escape then terminating my contract," he explained.

After tending to Graham's wounds, the two shared an intimate moment, with Rhona eventually rejecting Graham's advances, but not before her husband Marlon Dingle came across them, who subsequently returned home and cancelled his and Rhona's plans.

Will Graham manage to evade further punishment, and what exactly is Jodie's involvement with this gang?
