Silo season 3 release date officially confirmed as hit Rebecca Ferguson series returns with chilling first look
The truth will surface.

This is not a drill! Silo season 3 officially has a release date – and there's not too long to wait.
The news has been a long time coming for fans of the sci-fi, which follows the inhabitants of an underground silo who have no idea how they came to be there, or what they survived in the outside world.
After seasons 1 and 2 thrilled audiences, Apple TV has confirmed season 3 is coming our way on 3 July. New episodes of the 10-part season will then drop weekly, until the finale on 4 September.
Alongside the release date announcement, the streamer has dropped a chilling teaser heralding the return of Rebecca Ferguson's Juliette, the engineer determined to find out the truth.
In the dramatic clip, we hear her say: "Before we can know why we're here, before we can know why everything is as it is, before we can know how it all will end, we need to understand how it all began."

Oh yes, we're going right back to the beginning, with season 3 being based on Shift, the second of Hugh Howey's Wool novels. The teaser goes on to show scenes from Silo 18 in reverse (as if we're rewinding) with a shot of the bleak wasteland above the siloes flickering and turning back to a lush green landscape.
Meanwhile, a whole host of first-look images have been released by Apple TV, which you can check out below.

It set to follow two different timelines, with Apple sharing the official synopsis: "In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced 'cleaning' but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat.
"Meanwhile, in the 'Before Times,' journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences."
Alongside Ferguson, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, and Clare Perkins are set to return. Interestingly, Steve Zahn, who made his debut as Solo in season 2, will also return.
Meanwhile, alongside Henwick and Zukerman, who were seen in the season 2 finale, Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney and Matt Craven will join the cast.
