Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? confirms contestant wins full £1 million prize pot on Jeremy Clarkson quiz
No April Fools here – just some seriously smart players.

ITV has announced that at least one contestant will win the £1 million prize pot in the upcoming season of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
The 36th run of the iconic quiz show, which is set to begin later this month, will see not one but two contestants make it all the way to the final question.
Top prize winners are extremely rare, with only six contestants in the show’s UK history having taken home the £1 million and only one winner since Jeremy Clarkson became host.
We now know that number is about to grow to seven, but whether it also goes up to eight... viewers will just have to wait and see.
ITV has also teased that the upcoming episodes will see one contestant dramatically lose £186,000 in a single moment, which marks one of the biggest losses in the show’s history.
Details of the contestants are so far being kept under wraps.

Earlier this year, Clarkson presented Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? spin-off Millionaire Hot Seat, which saw contestants answering questions against the clock and aiming to be the one player still in the famous chair by the end of the game.
Elsewhere this month, ITV has a brand new gameshow coming to screens in the form of The Neighbourhood, hosted by Graham Norton.
The show follows six real households competing in a street-sized popularity contest where the last house standing takes home a life-changing £250,000.
