Taskmaster's future officially confirmed as it hits massive global numbers on YouTube
We don't know what we'd do without it.

Channel 4 has confirmed that hit comedy game show Taskmaster has been renewed for a further six seasons.
The Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, and show creator Little Alex Horne will also return in their roles for Taskmaster’s New Year Treat, and the fan-favourite Taskmaster Champion of Champions.
Horne said in a statement: "I’m pleased and quite stressed that I’ve got to come up with a lot more tasks for a lot more comedians but the thought of three more years in Greg’s deep embrace is soothing my little head."
Meanwhile, Davies added: "I am delighted the comedian meat grinder remains open for business. I look forward to gleefully keeping it fed with the help of a small, introverted man that I own."
Alongside the renewal, Channel 4 also revealed that season 19 of Taskmaster, which aired in 2025, saw the show reach new heights in its popularity, with clips from the series accumulating 165 million global views across its social platforms.
The show has also surpassed over 1.4 billion global views on its official YouTube channel.

The news comes with the release date for season 21 just days away, kicking off on Thursday 9 April at 9pm on Channel 4, and arriving directly afterwards on YouTube worldwide.
The line-up for the new season is made up of Last One Laughing comedian Amy Gledhill, The Thick of It and The Day Today creator Armando Iannucci, Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page, The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett and Oscar-nominated Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani.
Horne recently set Iannucci and Dommett a special Easter task for Radio Times – with less than successful results.
He has also previewed a moment involving Nanjiani in the upcoming episodes that he called a "never-before-seen Taskmaster moment".
Taskmaster season 21 begins on Thursday 9 April at 9pm on Channel 4 and on the official Taskmaster YouTube channel elsewhere globally.
