Prior to the series launch, the BBC promised even more twists and turns, and it seems that is certainly the case with the introduction of a rather flashy red cloak.

While we don't yet know what that red cloak entails, Claudia Winkleman has said things are a little bit different this year...

As audiences wait to find out, we have been introduced to the 22 new players taking part in the game and one of them is Ross.

Read on to find out more about The Traitors season 4 contestant.

Who is Ross from The Traitors?

A group of 22 people split onto either side of a fire pit in front of The Traitors castle, with Claudia Winkleman stood in the front.

Age: 37

Job: Sales exec and personal trainer

Location: London

Ross is a 37-year-old personal trainer from London who think the series will be "a fun, interesting adventure and a cool opportunity".

He has a fair few accolades under his belt already, including being a fifth ranked muscle model in Europe, though he believes he is "just really lucky".

Like his other players, Ross is hoping to hide in plain sight and use his "good character and charisma" to hopefully try and find a shield.

Why did Ross apply for The Traitors?

Ross heard about the show through some of his clients, and decided to apply "on a whim".

Is Ross from The Traitors on Instagram?

Yes, Ross can be followed on Instagram @rossgift and he already has quite the impressive following with over 3,000 followers.

The Traitors season 4 begins on Thursday 1st January 2026 at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Seasons 1-3 are available to watch on iPlayer.
