Olivia Attwood is back on screens in an exciting new reality series, The Heat.

The new show, launching tonight on ITVX, sees 10 ambitious chefs travel to Barcelona, working under multi Michelin Star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, who is opening an exclusive summer restaurant and is on a mission to find the next rising star.

But this is no MasterChef, because each day when the kitchen service is over, the cameras keep rolling... From post-shift dates to staff nights out, there is no escaping The Heat...

Akito

Age: 24

Location: Cheshire

Akito has fused his love of cooking with content creation, building a massive audience and racking up millions of views with his high energy, fast-paced takes on chef life.

His cooking career began at just 16 years old, when he entered fine dining restaurants as a kitchen porter before working his way up to sous chef.

Alex W

Alex W.
Alex W. ITV

Age: 22

Location: County Cork, Ireland

Alex was born and raised at the world-famous Ballymaloe, where his family own and run the renowned restaurant and cooking school.

He began his career in the family restaurant before heading off to work a ski season as a chalet chef. But now, Alex is keen to prove himself and moved to London, gaining experience as Chef de Partie at Straker’s before working at Lyles.

Djordje

Age: 26

Location: Wakefield

Djordje started out front of house before catching the kitchen bug and swapping the floor to train as a commis chef.

He first started out as junior sous chef at the Palm Hospitality Group in Wakefield, before moving to his current role as a chef de partie at Shears Yard in Leeds.

Jayon

Age: 22

Location: Manchester

Jayon began working in kitchens at just 16 ears old, progressing from a kitchen porter to a chef de partie at The Ivy and Medlock Canteen.

He has hopes of opening his own Jamaican themed restaurant in Manchester.

Kat

Age: 22

Location: Scottish Highlands

Kat began her career at Glasgow's Virgin Hotel, starting out as a commis chef, before moving to the city's fine dining hotspot Glaschu. She then moved to the Marriott, stepping up as a chef de partie.

These days, Kat prefers city life and recently moved to Glasgow before setting off to explore Australia.

Maja

Age: 25

Location: London

Maja studied criminology at university but, after graduating, she realised her real passion was in the kitchen.

She trained at Leith's Cookery School before working as a chef de partie at Clipstone Restaurant. After a move to Australia and then back to London, Maja now works at The Hart in Marylebone.

Marta

Age: 21

Location: London

Marta began her career as a chef as an apprentice at a three-starred Michelin restaurant, where she discovered her passion for pastry, before working as a private chef in Tenerife.

Tom

Age: 21

Location: South Wales

Tom is currently the creative director at Crave in Exeter and has worked closely with the owner to develop the menu offerings.

He began cooking professionally at 16 and built his experience in the likes of The Hardwick in Abergavenny, Lucknam Park in Wiltshire, and The Savoy in London where he worked under Gordon Ramsay.

Seren

Age: 21

Location: Buckinghamshire

Seren is one of the front of house staff on The Heat. She is currently studying fashion marketing at the University of Manchester, though her real passion has always been food.

Alongside her studies, Serne works as a chef at Honest Crust, a pizza stand in Mackie Mayor food hall, where she is getting hands-on kitchen experience.

Helina

Age: 21

Location: London

Helina is one of the front of house staff on The Heat. She currently works as a house coordinator at a private members' club in Soho, where she welcomes guests, coordinates events and keeps communication flowing between head office, the kitchen and the bar.

But her true passion is music, with her ultimate dream being to become a singer-songwriter.

Natalia

Location: Maitre D

Natalia has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in Michelin-star Danube, before moving on to the legendary Le Cirque under hospitality heavyweight Sirio Maccioni.

She is now the proud owner of Sete, a restaurant and wine bar in Margate and is now a multi-award-winning-restaurateur. She is also the founder of LOR (Ladies Of Restaurants), a powerful community championing women in hospitality.

The Heat begins on Tuesday 24 February at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
