Building the Band line-up: Meet the singers taking part

Building the Band is finally here, and the 50 talented singers all ready to show they have what it takes to be part of the next biggest band have been revealed.
Kick starting today (9th July) on Netflix, the competition series follows a group of talented singers form a music group, without ever having seen or met each other.
The singers are tested on their music compatibility, connection and merit, leaving all aspects of physical attributes behind.
But who are these singers taking part? Read on to learn some more about the 50 contestants starring on Building the Band.

Donzell was the first singer to perform, and he impressed plenty with his rendition of Jealous by Labrinth.
The singer was the youngest pastor in his church in Arkansas but when the pandemic hit, he set out with a plan to go viral on social media and that he did after breaking into song at Walmarts across the US.
Alison Ogden

Alison was next up to perform and impressed the other singers with her talent. She is keen to be part of a girl band, especially as the lead singer.
Brianna Mazzola
Age: 24
Location: Pennsylvania

Entertainer Brianna began singing at an early age and is keen to be in a band after growing up listening to The Supremes, Destiny's Child and a number of other girl groups.
Katie Roeder
Age: 24
Location: Massachusetts

Katie gained powerhouse status among the other contestants. She is incredibly popular across social media, accumulating 1.3 million likes on TikTok alone.
Chance Perez
Age: 27

Chance was previously in the boyband In Real Life, after taking part in music competition series Boy Band in 2017.
Conor Smith
Age: 22

Conor wowed the other singers with his rendition of Drivers License by Olivia Rodrigo.
Kevin Chung
Age: 29
Location: Georgia

Kevin Chung is a Korean American singer-songwriter who in 2021, made the move to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time singer.
Jenna Davenport
Age: 19

Thomas Berberian Gonzaga
Age: 21
Location: Brazil

Thomas Berberian Gonzaga has been a fan of music since he was a child and when the pandemic hit, he began to pursue music full-time.

Aaliyah Larsen
