Zendaya teases whether Euphoria season 3 will end the show for good: "That closure is coming"
It's bad news for fans of the series.

Zendaya has revealed she believes the third season of Euphoria will be the last.
The multi-Emmy-award-winning show, which stars the likes of Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, and Hunter Schafer, is set to return for its third outing on 13 April on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show to promote her new film The Drama and Euphoria season 3, Zendaya was asked whether the upcoming third season will be the last, to which she said: "I think so, yeah."
Barrymore added that she liked knowing the "mindframe" going into a potential final season, to which Zendaya responded: "That closure is coming."
Elsewhere in the interview, Zendaya opened up about how "proud" she is of her work in the show, saying the series has "cracked my heart open."
She added: "Rue taught me so much about life. That crew has also seen me grow up. I owe so much to that show. Rue taught me so much about empathy and redemption. I’m very grateful for all of it."
HBO has yet to confirm whether season 3 will be the show’s last.

However, with many of the show’s cast members having become in-demand stars since the series' premiere in 2019, and the four-year hiatus between season two and three due in part to their complex schedules, it's long been predicted by fans and critics that the upcoming third season of the show will be the last.
Season 3 will pick up five years after the ending of season 2, which saw Nate (Elordi) turn his dad Cal (the late Eric Dane) into the police and Rue fail to clear her debt to drug lord Laurie (Martha Kelly).
A trailer recently gave fans a few hints at what’s to come, with Rue now in Mexico and still in deep debt to Laurie, and Cassie (Sweeney) and Nate (Elordi) getting married and living in the suburbs.
Also returning in season 3 are cast members Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King and Colman Domingo, while new additions include Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell and Asante Blackk.
Euphoria seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on Sky Atlantic and NOW with an Entertainment Membership.
