Prime Video's series based on James Patterson's novels, Cross, is back for a second season, with Aldis Hodge reprising his role as the titular homicide detective and forensic psychologist.

Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd and Johnny Ray Gill are all also back in the new episodes, while Matthew Lillard has joined the cast in a key new role.

Season 2 sees Cross in pursuit of a ruthless vigilante who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates, while he continues to deal with the fallout from the dramatic end to season 1 on his personal life.

The first three episodes of the new season have now been made available, but when will the rest of them be released?

When will Cross season 2 episode 4 be released?

Cross season 2 began with three episodes being released at once on Wednesday 11th February. Since then, it has switched to a weekly release schedule.

This means episode 4 will be released on Wednesday 18th February on Prime Video.

How many episodes will there be in Cross season 2?

There will be a total of eight episodes in Cross season 2.

This is also the same number of episodes that were featured in the first season of the show, which was released in 2024.

The first three episodes of Cross season 2 were released on Wednesday 11th February, following which the show has switched to a weekly release schedule on Wednesdays.

This means the season will run through until Wednesday 18th March, when the finale will become available on Prime Video.
