If you’re after a new game inspired by Arthurian legend, you might want to keep an eye out for the Tides of Annihilation release date.
This Chinese-developed action-adventure single player game caught the attention of action game fans the world over following its reveal, thanks to its detailed visuals, flashy combat and interesting setting.
Eclipse Glow Games certainly showed us that it understands scale in action games with towering enemies and locations aplenty in what we’ve seen so far.

When is the Tides of Annihilation release date? Speculation
As of writing, there is no Tides of Annihilation release date. Developer Eclipse Glow Games is yet to reveal even a vague window.
Given that we have been shown a number of trailers by now, including lengthy gameplay footage, we’re hopeful that Tides of Annihilation could be released by the end of 2026. Don’t be surprised if it slips into 2027 however.
Fingers crossed we will learn more about its release date soon. We’ll update this page as soon as we do!
Can I pre-order Tides of Annihilation?

No, you cannot currently pre-order Tides of Annihilation.
As the game has no confirmed release date, or even a release window, this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
You can add it to your wishlist on the digital storefront of your choice, though.

Which consoles and platforms can play Tides of Annihilation?
Tides of Annihilation has been confirmed for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
There is no word on a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the game as of writing but this could change in the future. We’ll be sure to let you know with an update if this becomes the case!
Tides of Annihilation gameplay and story details
Tides of Annihilation is an action game set in London, which has been destroyed and taken over by an invasion of foes from another realm.
As the knight Gwendolyn – the last-known surviving human of London – it is up to you to battle against these invaders and unravel the mysteries of this twisted Arthurian legend fantasy version of modern-day London.

During your adventure, you’ll come across colossal knights roaming Greater London in what look like potentially awe-inspiring battles of humongous scale.
Speaking of battles, Tides of Annihilation features a "unique knightly combat system that allows you to command a band of over ten legendary knights. Inspired by Arthurian lore, each knight brings unique skills and abilities to your team," according to Steam's listing of the game at least.
