With more than a year having passed since Leagues 5 came to an end, players have been desperate to fill that Raging Echoes-shaped hole in their hearts.

It's a tall order to follow up on one of the best Leagues yet, but Jagex has got plenty of secrets up their sleeves.

So, when does Leagues 6 start in OSRS, what can we expect and what are the rewards for Demonic Pacts? Here's what you need to know.

OSRS Leagues 6: Demonic Pacts release date window

OSRS Leagues 6 will release in April 2026, as confirmed by Jagex during January's Winter Summit.

Unfortunately, while we have a confirmed month – and one that's not too far away, at that – we don't have a confirmed start date just yet.

Initially, we and many others thought that the 666 motif was a reference to Demonic Pacts beginning on 6th June. Could that be the end date, instead?

What to expect from Leagues 6 in OSRS

The basics of Leagues 6 are the same as in previous Leagues. That means Ironman mode, Relics (though they'll be called Pacts this time around), region locking and fast XP rates.

That doesn't mean we don't have a huge amount of new content to look forward to, though.

The story this time around focuses on Yama, the demon who inhabits the Chasm of Fire in Shayzien, who has kidnapped and locked up The Sage.

Leagues 6 will not begin in Misthalin. Players will complete the tutorial in a new version of Yama's lair, separate from the existing one in the Chasm of Fire, suggesting that the starting region will not be in Kourend.

Echo Bosses are back, with most of the bosses from last time making a return, but with a few new faces and rewards joining the fray too, along with the return of Combat Masteries, which will be altered to make them less linear.

We'll be sure to find out more as we get closer to the start date, so be sure to check back later for more! Until then, check out the cinematic trailer below:

OSRS Leagues 6 rewards

Just like in previous Leagues, you will earn some rewards on your main account depending on the rank you achieve, all based on the Demonic Pacts theme.

First is the Demonic Pacts armour set, a black and red set of robes, mask, and cane topped with a skull.

A Demonic Bacts Banner and Trophy will also be available, as well as a unique Home Teleport animation, showing you being dragged into the underworld by Imps.

A new Ornament Kit will let players install Yama's Throne in their Player-Owned House, while Weapon Ornament Kits offer cosmetic versions of the Trident of the Seas, Trident of the Swamp, Iban's Staff and Soul Reaper Axe, with corresponding animations for Iban's Blast and the Trident's Spell.

The Book of the Dead will give you the option to summon some of Yama's minions, with a Melee, Range and Magic version for you to use.

A new Slayer Helm variant based on the Oathplate armour set is also in the works.

A new demonic skin colour override will let your own player character don a blood red tone, and even your Demon Butler can get in on the action with a flashy new suit.
