GTA 6 Trailer 3 rumours explained: When could it happen?

As perhaps the most highly anticipated game in history, it's hardly surprising that fans are desperate for GTA 6 Trailer 3 to arrive.

Released more than a year apart, the first two trailers have accumulated more than 400 million combined views on YouTube, which is so mind-bogglingly massive that we can barely comprehend it.

And with less than a year to go until the release date finally arrives, there are rumours flying around that a third trailer is set to arrive imminently.

But how true are these rumours? Here's what you need to know about GTA 6 Trailer 3

GTA 6 Trailer 3 rumours explained: When could it happen?

The rumours about the imminent release of a third GTA 6 trailer stem from a couple of places, as noticed by fans on social media.

The first of these is that the Rockstar website has recently received a large makeover.

While not adding any new information specifically, it offers up a clearer view of main characters Lucia and Jason, the option to "Explore Leonida," and a brand-new logo featuring palm trees inside the Roman numerals VI.

The second reason why fans think a trailer is imminent is that Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has their next earnings call on 6th November.

Fans have pointed out that Take-Two has a history of announcing major updates to their games right before earnings – GTA 6 Trailer 2 was released 10 days before their May earnings call, for example.

That being said, with it already being so close to earnings, we think that this is perhaps a sign that the trailer is perhaps not arriving this week.

Naturally, all of this is purely speculation, and should be taken with a tremendous pinch of salt.

When could GTA 6 Trailer 3 release?

If these rumours are to be believed, then GTA 6 Trailer 3 could release on 5th or 6th November 2025 in tandem with Take-Two's upcoming earnings call.

We do, however, think that given how close that would be to earnings, it would be unlikely that Rockstar would put out such a major announcement.

Instead, our guess for when GTA 6 Trailer 3 could release is as part of The Game Awards 2025, or potentially as a separate announcement around the end of the year.

Again, this is entirely speculative and should by no means be taken as an indication of when the trailer will or even could release.
