CoD BO7 meta, best guns to use in multiplayer

CoD BO7 has one of the best selection of guns in a long time, with some excellent weapons to use across the categories.

On top of that, there are some great Field Upgrades and grenades that can give you the edge in multiplayer matches whether you are playing in the skill-based playlists or with open matchmaking.

Here is a breakdown of the current meta dominating the multiplayer in CoD BO7, and some strong loadout combinations to use:

CoD BO7 meta

The current BO7 meta consists of:

• Best guns: M15 Mod 0, Dravec 45, Warden 308, X9 Maverick
• Best equipment and field upgrades: Psych Grenade, Stim, Mute Field, Drone Pod,

These guns are the best in their categories for a variety of reasons. The M15 Mod 0 is the first assault rifle you unlock and it remains the strongest. It is consistent, with good stats and a great damage profile that makes it one of the most predictable guns in the game.

Another consistent weapon is the Dravec 45. This SMG acts more like an AR-SMG hybrid with its low recoil, high magazine size, and mobility. It's an incredibly easy weapon to pick up and get used to and once you outfit it with attachments that boost its damage profile, you can easily outshoot several Assault rifles at medium-long distances.

If you are looking for something with a faster fire rate then the Ryden 45K is a good backup.

On the other hand, for weapons that can provide decent long rang damage, the X9 Maverick is a great pick. This is a burst assault rifle that can kill in just one burst if all your shots hit, making it incredibly deadly when you are holding down choke points, watching angles, or locking down corridors.

Finally, the Warden 308 is a monster. This marksman rifle is capable of one-shot kills to the upper body and head, meaning if you are precise with your shots you can kill someone almost instantly.

The weapon has already become infamous with players using it to go on crazy killstreaks. So, it is worth adopting a slower playstyle to make the most of the Warden 308.

When it comes to equipment and field upgrades, the Psych Grenade and Stim rule the lethal and tactical slots with the former being a pretty strong disorientation grenade that players haven't adjusted to properly yet.

For your field upgrade, we suggest using the Mute Field which acts as a mobile Dead Silence, making your footsteps silent for a period of time.

Alternatively, while incredibly annoying to deal with, the Drone Pod is obscenely strong right now. These drones can divert players attentions away as they try to destroy them and they are so small that they might not even be able to, allowing it to explode and kill them, or for you to get the upper hand.
