Murder, She Wrote reboot star says "no one can touch" Angela Lansbury's performance as they take on Jessica Fletcher role
Jamie Lee Curtis is set to play Jessica Fletcher in a new film.

Jamie Lee Curtis has opened up about her upcoming role in Murder, She Wrote, a film reboot of the classic detective series starring Angela Lansbury.
Curtis will be taking on the role Lansbury played, Jessica Fletcher, but she has made clear that she will be putting her own spin on it, as "no one is gonna touch Angela".
Speaking on The One Show, she said: "Well, there's a rumour, that may be true, that I am going to play Jess Fletcher, in the Murder, She Wrote reboot movie.
"Obviously, there is nothing... no one is gonna touch Angela. There's just no one that's gonna touch her, but I will bring my own curiosity."
Curtis said that she is known in her family for doing a certain facial expression, a certain curious, disbelieving expression, which was described by host Clara Amfo as a "pensive stare".

Curtis said there would be a "panoply" of those reactions and expressions, and that is why she believes she is "the perfect person for the job".
This comes after Curtis confirmed her involvement in the film earlier this week, telling Entertainment Tonight that the film is happening, even if "we're a minute away".
"But yeah, very excited," she said. "Very excited. But I’m tamping down my enthusiasm until we start shooting. I have a couple of other things to hustle, but then I’ll get to enjoy that work."
The original Murder, She Wrote series ran for 12 seasons and four TV movies between 1984 and 1996, while the new film is being produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Amy Pascal.
Curtis will next be seen alongside Lindsay Lohan in Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel to 2003's Freaky Friday, which is releasing on 8th August.
