Ant and Dec have announced two exciting upcoming projects, including their first ever podcast series, Hanging Out with Ant & Dec.

The series will see the duo simply spending time together chatting, with "no script, no agenda and no interruptions". It is said that it will see the duo "catching up, reminiscing, and seeing where the conversation takes them".

However, the one thing which will lead the conversation is the audience, with viewers and listeners telling Ant & Dec what they want to hear - whether it's asking them to relive iconic TV moments, seeking their advice or just sharing anecdotes, each item in the episode has input from the audience.

Episodes will start releasing from Thursday 22nd January, with new instalments coming out each week on Thursdays, alongside bonus episodes on Mondays.

The podcast was announced alongside another new project for the duo, Belta Box. A digital entertainment channel, Belta Box will be home to their podcast, as well as brand new digital formats and classic Ant & Dec moments from some of their best-loved shows. It will be available across digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Upcoming content on the platform will be announced in due course, but it is said to contain classic moments from the likes of Saturday Night Takeaway and Byker Grove.

Ant said in a statement: "We’ve spent our whole careers celebrating great entertainment, so launching Belta Box feels like the natural next step. Alongside our new podcast, we’re excited to create a space packed with fun, feel-good content that brings people together—no matter where they’re watching or listening."

Dec added: "What better way to launch Belta Box than with our first ever podcast series! We asked our audience if we did a podcast what would they like it be about, and they said we just want you guys to hang out.

"So that's what we're doing! Ant & I don't get to hang out as much as we used to, so it's perfect for us."

This news comes after the duo extended their exclusive TV and streaming relationship with ITV at the end of last year, taking them through to the end of 2028, three decades after they first joined the channel.

Hanging Out With Ant & Dec will start airing episodes on Belta Box, and wherever you get your podcasts, from Thursday 22nd January.
