It's not often you get a Hollywood actor like Martin Freeman, his Sherlock co-star Louise Brealey and Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat – the showrunners of two of the biggest properties in British TV – in the same room together at the same time. But Radio Times managed it, at our annual covers party earlier this week.
It provided a great photo opportunity, as you can see in the exclusive gallery below, and also a chance to chat to some of the stars.
Martin Freeman told us what he does (and doesn't know) about series three of Sherlock, in this video, explained that his character John might well react to the detective's return from the dead by punching Benedict Cumberbatch in the face, and posed for some more photos for his own gallery.
Mark Gatiss talked new villains in Sherlock and revealed exclusively that he'd cast David Bradley as First Doctor Willaim Hartnell in his upcoming Doctor Who drama Adventures in Space and Time.
And we also got Steven Moffat in front of the camera to find out a bit more about the new series of Sherlock, as well as his plans for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary year.
