60 gold medals, as well as 60 more silver and 60 more bronze, will be won in skiing events at Milano-Cortina 2026 and, after drawing a blank four years ago, Team GB will hope to be back on the podium.
Fans across the UK will be keen to tune in to see how our home hopes get on and just enjoy the show, with the BBC and TNT Sports set to offer extensive coverage.
RadioTimes.com brings you our guide to skiing at the Winter Olympics 2026.
When is Winter Olympics 2026 skiing?
Skiing at the Winter Olympics begins on Friday 7th February and will run all the way through to Sunday 22nd February, the final day of the Games.
Team GB skiing at the Winter Olympics 2026

A total of 17 athletes will be pulling on a Union Jack-emblazoned snow suit and competing in skiing events at this year's Winter Olympics.
Team GB have never won an alpine skiing medal and will need to defy the odds to change that at Milano-Cortina 2026. The evergreen Dave Ryding heads into his fifth Games, joined by compatriots Billy Major and Laurie Taylor in the slalom.
The same is true for biathlon, where Shawna Pendry and Jacques Jefferies are the British representatives, and cross-country, which will feature a four-strong team of James Clugnet, Andrew Musgrave, Joe Davies, and Anna Pryce.
However, ambitions are high for Team GB in the freestyle events. Kirsty Muir will be eyeing medals in both the big air and slopestyle events, while Zoe Atkin arrives in Italy as halfpipe world champion.
There is optimism about what could be achieved by the rest of the freestyle team – Chris McCormick (Slopestyle), Gus Kenworthy (Slopestyle), Liam Richards (Halfpipe), Ollie Davies (Ski cross), Makayla Gerken Schofield (Moguls), and Mateo Jeannesson (Moguls) – as well.
Team GB are not competing in the ski jumping, Nordic combined or ski mountaineering.
