Ali Carter clinched the first spot in the final on Friday, as he saw off 2011 champion Mark Selby in a close-fought tie, coming from behind for the third match in a row.

He will be joined by fellow countryman Kyren Wilson, who managed to dispatch hometown hero Zhao Xintong 10-5 in yesterday's second semi-final.

Both Carter and Wilson have pedigree in this tournament, previously winning it in 2010 and 2015 respectively, and both will be looking to make it a second today, clinching that £210,000 first prize in the process.
