Andy Farrell will shuffle his pack after the first Test against Australia – with Saturday's starters set to get a well-earned rest.

As a result, fringe players will be given a chance to impress ahead of the second match of the Wallabies series at the MCG on the weekend and there could be more minutes in legs for a few of the replacements.

Tuesday's game may be one of many warm-up matches on the Lions Tour but it will be a special occasion, the first time that Rugby Australia has brought together a squad made up of players of First Nations and Pasifika heritage.

Among those that will take to the field against the tourists are former Wallabies fly-half Kurtley Beale and Charlie Gamble, who caused Farrell's side all sorts of problems when they faced the NSW Waratahs.
