Premier League predictions this weekend – Matchweek 27
Our final predictions for Premier League Matchweek 27 – including our Upset of the Week.

After a round of midweek games and the fourth round of the FA Cup, normal service resumes in the Premier League this weekend.
Title chasers Arsenal could do with a calm victory to ease the nerves after their Wolves slip but they now have to negotiate Sunday's North London derby, which is Spurs' first game under new boss Igor Tudor.
Man City and Aston Villa will look to crank up the pressure on the Gunners with victories on a five-game Saturday, while everyone has something to fight for as we enter the business end of the campaign.
Each week, Radio Times Sport Editor Michael Potts and Sport Writer Ned Holmes present their Premier League predictions, including a selection for Upset of the Week, because football isn't played on paper after all.
How many picks will they get right in Matchweek 27?
Premier League predictions this weekend – Matchweek 27
Saturday 21 February
Aston Villa v Leeds (3pm) Not televised
NH: 2-1 Leeds win. UPSET OF THE WEEK. I fancy Leeds to cause a shock at Villa Park. Unai Emery's side have not been convincing in recent weeks and aren't finding those moments of magic that helped them string together wins earlier in the season. The Whites have been good value for their impressive run of results in 2026 and will take another step toward survival this weekend.
MP: 1-0 Aston Villa win. Unai Emery's side may have lost their shine in recent weeks, but their form remains pretty reasonable. They are certainly not in a crisis state. They've kept results very tight and I expect them to do so again here against a Leeds side creeping closer to safety.
Brentford v Brighton (3pm) Not televised
NH: 2-0 Brentford win. A bleak period for Brighton is set to continue in their trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, where Brentford have been outstanding this season. Though the Seagulls play some nice football at times, they're not effective enough and will come undone against their hosts, who are not afraid to go direct.
MP: 2-1 Brentford win. Two fashionable teams are heading in very different directions this term. Brentford and Brighton have both sold and bought expertly to establish themselves as Premier League stalwarts, but Brighton's strategy is creaking. Head coach Fabian Hurzeler is under mounting pressure but can't expect any favours from Keith Andrews.
Chelsea v Burnley (3pm) Not televised
NH: 3-0 Chelsea win. This could be the end for Scott Parker. Burnley have stayed patient but if they are going to make a change then it may come after a comprehensive defeat at Chelsea, who Parker has struggled against throughout his management career. The Blues are getting better under Liam Rosenior with each passing week and will put the visitors to the sword.
MP: 2-0 Chelsea win. Defeating Crystal Palace has barely moved the dial for Burnley. It was a great result against a team in full self-destruct mode, but Chelsea won't offer them such an opportunity. The Blues are in a real fight for the top four now and will see this as an outing they can't afford to not win.
West Ham v Bournemouth (5:30pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
NH: 3-1 Bournemouth win. Bournemouth are back to their gunslinging best, rediscovering their attacking spark and getting the results to match. Though West Ham have improved under Nuno Espirito Santo, they won't be able to keep up with the Cherries at full tilt.
MP: 2-1 West Ham win. UPSET OF THE WEEK. Bournemouth are back in form, but West Ham have shown clear signs of sustained improvement in recent weeks to boost their hopes of survival. The Hammers will pinpoint this one as a potential three points on home turf knowing the Cherries can blow hot and cold.
Man City v Newcastle (8pm) TNT Sports 1
NH: 2-0 Man City win. Newcastle will head to the Etihad full of the confidence that scoring six goals in the Champions League provides but Qarabag and Man City are two very different beasts. Though they look vulnerable at times, Pep Guardiola's side are starting to shift into the inevitable gear that they so often find in the final months of a Premier League season.
MP: 2-1 Man City win. Newcastle turn up for the big games, especially those in the Champions League, and tend to falter in matches they're expected to win. However, their record after European trips is poor and Pep Guardiola's side will be revitalised by Arsenal's draw against Wolves during midweek.

Sunday 22 February
Crystal Palace v Wolves (2pm) Sky Sports+
NH: 1-1 draw. Selhurst Park's long wait for a victory will go on this weekend despite the visit of bottom-club Wolves. As their comeback against Arsenal shows, the Old Gold have not given up just yet and they will cause problems for a Crystal Palace side that have been unable to shake the gloom.
MP: 2-1 Wolves win. Does this count as an upset? Palace are in a predicament, buoyed only by a derby day win over flailing Brighton. They might have done enough to survive, but they can't be a happy camp right now. Oliver Glasner's stock is dropping as his unhappy marriage with Palace drags on, hardly an inspiring situation for his players, while Wolves have shown a fighting spirit capable of winning here.
Nottingham Forest v Liverpool (2pm) Sky Sports Main Event
NH: 3-1 Liverpool win. Nottingham Forest have been a thorn in Liverpool's side in recent seasons and will be buoyed by the appointment of explosive coach Vitor Pereira. It's not the coaches that have been the problem at the City Ground this season, however, and the visitors will have too much quality.
MP: 2-0 Liverpool win. Florian Wirtz is growing into the role he was signed to own. The German is getting better and better while Hugo Ekitike is finding the net consistently and the patchwork backline has been doing enough. I could see the Reds enjoying a strong end to the season.
Sunderland v Fulham (2pm) Sky Sports Premier League
NH: 2-2 draw. Sunderland's unbeaten home record is gone but the Stadium of Light is still a tough place to go. Fulham have shown they're not scared of having a go and, with little to choose between the pair, that points toward a fun one for the neutral. Though it's not the win either team will be eyeing, a draw snaps their league losing streaks.
MP: 1-0 Sunderland win. Results haven't fallen Sunderland's way in recent weeks, but they've got a lot of tough opponents out of the way and not humiliated themselves against any of them. They're embarking on a run of fixtures against those around them and boast a terrific opportunity to rocket up the table in the weeks to come – a team to watch.
Tottenham v Arsenal (4:30pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League
NH: 3-1 Arsenal win. Sunday's North London derby has all the makings of a Premier League classic. Tottenham have been drawn into the relegation battle, while Arsenal need to get their title charge back on track after their slip-up against Wolves. Igor Tudor will rally his new troops but he is no miracle worker and with some key players still missing, Spurs' struggles against their local rivals will continue.
MP: 3-0 Arsenal. Can anyone make a case for anything other than a demolition here? Spurs interim boss Igor Tudor is a seasoned campaigner with numerous clubs in numerous divisions, but hasn't lasted more than 50 matches with any team since his first job, Hajduk Split. He is a boom-or-bust option. He's also missing 12 players, including suspended captain Cristian Romero at the back. This could get incredibly messy, and Spurs could be just two points above the relegation zone by full time.

Everton v Man Utd (8pm) Sky Sports Main Event / Premier League
NH: 2-1 Man Utd win. These two will be raring to go after nearly a fortnight without a game. Expect Everton to set out to frustrate the visitors and to make things difficult for them, but with plenty of time to plan and a score to settle after the reserve fixture, Man Utd will find a way through.
MP: 2-1 Man Utd win. Manchester United are back, for the 43rd time in the last year, and if the prospect of a return to the Champions League doesn't motivate Michael Carrick's troops to bring a big display against Everton, nothing will.
