Fantasy Premier League tips GW17: FPL transfers you should make – including Chelsea winger against rookie full-back
Our guide to Fantasy Premier League tips ahead of GW17 in 2025/26.

Fantasy Premier League is heating up as we head towards the Christmas rush in GW17.
Picking players who are most likely to play every match over the period is crucial. Manchester City may seem like the place to be for attackers, but you should tread with caution as we approach the seasonal edition of Pep Roulette.
Remember the deadline to use your FPL chips is approaching, so make sure you're plotting a course to use them before you lose them.
RadioTimes.com brings you our top FPL tips for GW17 in 2025/26.
Fantasy Premier League tips GW17
MID: Pedro Neto (CHE, £7.3m, 9.4 per cent)
Chelsea's tricky winger has been one of the most consistent points winners of the season, racking up 76 in total across 15 appearances with just one haul above 10pts.
Since GW8, Neto has recorded an attacking contribution in six of nine matches and is a regular starter for the Blues. He's a nice differential option likely to start against a Newcastle team who lost three of their four regular defensive options to injury this week. He is likely to face youngster Alex Murphy down the flank.
MID: Harry Wilson (FUL, £5.6m, 15.0 per cent)
Wilson feels like a risk, but it's also risky to leave him out based on current form. The Fulham midfielder has hauled 10pts, 8pts, 8pts and 16pts in his last four outings, reserving his biggest total for the most recent game against Burnley.
He boasts reasonable fixtures against Nottingham Forest and West Ham in the coming weeks, and offers terrific value for money. When the music stops, his ownership will likely come crashing down, but it's still booming out loud for now.
FOR: Jarrod Bowen (WHU, £7.5m, 6.6 per cent)
One of the best players playing for a team in the bottom half, Bowen will play almost every minute of the Christmas rush, which could make him an important asset as other players rotate in and out.
He's scored in each of his last two matches and recorded an assist in the one before that. Ok, Manchester City doesn't seem like his moment to shine, but a favourable run of fixtures opens up after GW17. Picking him up early may be prudent.
