After a thrilling final round of League Phase fixtures, attention turns to the knockout stages of the Champions League 2025/26.
The top eight teams in the table, including Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man City, have already secured their spot in the last 16, with the other 16 teams that have made it through set to battle it out to join them over two-legged play-off ties.
The sides heading for the play-offs have been paired up according to their League Phase position, with the seeded pairs matched up to their equivalent unseeded pair, and already know who they could play in the next round – eg. 12th-place Newcastle have been paired with PSG 11th and will face either Qarabag (22nd) or Monaco (21st).
All eyes will be on Switzerland on Friday for the play-off round draw, which will confirm exactly who their opponents are and which side of the draw, Blue or Silver, they will be put into.

The Champions League draw will begin at 11am UK time and takes place at UEFA's headquarters, the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

You can tune in to watch the draw live on UEFA.com as well as the TNT Sports YouTube channel.
The draw will also be broadcast live on TNT Sports 2 from 11am.

When is the Champions League knockout play-off round?
The first leg fixtures of the Champions League knockout play-off round will be played on either Tuesday 17th February 2026 or Wednesday 18th February 2026.
The second leg of the ties will be played a week later, on either Tuesday 24h February 2026 or Wednesday 25th February 2026.
