Who is Max Branning marrying in EastEnders? Vote in our poll for 2027 flash-forward
Have your say on who Max's bride-to-be will be!

EastEnders's flash-forward episode saw Walford love rat Max Branning (Jake Wood) preparing to marry for the fifth time.
Of course, like most soap opera weddings, it didn't go without a hitch. He was arrested for soliciting a murder, spent the day in custody, and then discovered that his surviving eldest children Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and Oscar (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) were being held at gunpoint.
We have a whole year of drama to get through before we find out which of the kids he chooses to save, but luckily, some other questions will be answered within the coming months.

Hopefully one of those relates to the identity of his bride-to-be.
The episode dealt us four possibilities; ex-lover Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who he fathered youngest daughter Annie with; rival Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who blames him for the death of her son Steven; sister-in-law Denise Fox (Diane Parish), and her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).
But could it be someone else?

This wouldn't be the first time that EastEnders has led us down the wrong path, having previously implied that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was the one who met his maker at the hands of The Six - when it was actually Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
12 years ago, Bobby Beale (then Eliot Carrington) wasn't included on the list of suspects following the death of sister Lucy (Hetti Bywater), but a flashback revealed he was the one responsible.

Perhaps Max's former daughter-in-law and true love Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) could be returning to walk down the aisle, or his much-missed 2nd wife Tanya Cross (Jo Joyner)?
The vote is now closed, and we'll be revealing the verdict soon!
