Daemons of the Shadow Realm, one of the most highly-anticipated series of the spring 2026 anime season, is officially here!
Based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa, it follows twins Yuru and Asa who were separated at a young age and must make their way back to each other in a world where humans can control a duo of supernatural creatures called daemons.
During their journey, they learn of a particular power they possess, which they must use to save the world.

New episodes are out on Saturdays on Crunchyroll. That means the release schedule should look a little like this - although it is subject to change.
Daemons of the Shadow Realm is expected to run for two consecutive cours, meaning it will likely consist of 24 or 25 episodes.

The synopsis for Daemons of the Shadow Realm reads: "In a world where certain humans command mighty supernatural duos called Daemons, it is the birthright of 'the children who sunder day and night'—twins Yuru and Asa—to rule over these powerful entities.
