And the good news is there isn't long to go, with Taskmaster season 21 kicking off on Thursday 9 April at 9pm.

Following on from season 20, new episodes will be released in the US on YouTube immediately after they are shown in the UK, giving fans Stateside a dose of the wacky comedy.

The cast for season 21 was announced earlier this year, with Silicon Valley and Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani and The Thick of It and The Day Today creator Armando Iannucci among the line-up.

Featuring alongside them are Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page, Last One Laughing comedian Amy Gledhill and The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett.

Horne previously shared a cryptic teaser about season 21 to Radio Times, and we may be in for something shocking...

"There is a moment involving Kumail Nanjiani. I don't want to give much away, but he gives a lot away about what he does by himself in his hotel room. So that's what you've got to tune in for," he teased.

"He surprised himself by what he revealed, and I was sat next to him, and it's a big moment. It's a never-before-seen Taskmaster moment."

Beyond that, Horne also spoke about about a tweaked series in the "near-ish future" that would slightly change the format of the show.

When asked about the future of the show, Horne told Radio Times: " People ask us about adding a Champion of Champion of Champions.

"I think, instead of that, we have got something up our sleeves in the near-ish future, of doing a slightly interesting series. It's just some tweaks, but I can't say any more than that. So [we have got] something. We've got something up our sleeve."

Consider us intrigued!

Taskmaster returns on Thursday 9 April at 9pm on Channel 4. Previous seasons are available to watch on catch-up on Channel 4.
