The Traitors returned with a bang for its fourth season on BBC One, bringing in an average of 6.4 million viewers.

Audiences were certainly not disappointed, with a brand new twist changing the show's format like never before with the introduction of the Secret Traitor, a player who is unknown to everyone, including those tuning in at home.

Amongst the new players introduced is Reece who admitted he'd be more comfortable if he were chosen as a Traitor.

"Those natural abilities I have of being assertive, a comfortable talker, being able to look somebody in the eye and perhaps lie for the benefit of myself," he said.

Who is Reece from The Traitors?

Job: Sweet shop assistant

Location: Sheffield

Reece is a 27-year-old sweet shop assistant from Sheffield who won't shy away from being cut-throat while in The Traitors castle.

"I'm quite what you see is what you get, but obviously very aware that this is a game," he explained. "If I must remodel my personality to fit what is in front of me at that time, that is what I will do."

"I'm very competitive and confident, I don't want to go on and change who I am, or anything about me, I want to go on and be successful being me in the game."

Why did Reece apply for The Traitors?

Reece has always been competitive and the idea of having the unique experience of being on The Traitors appealed to Reece, and so he applied!

He added: "I don’t think I’ve done anything in my life which is so unique, and because I also have that competitive edge, I’m excited to see what I’m able to do."
